(5 root 2)whole square = (5)whole square × 2 = 25 × 2= 50.

we have to find the square of 5√2 .

( {5 \sqrt{2}) }^{2}

 =  {5}^{2}  \times   { \sqrt{2} }^{2}

 = 25 \times  \sqrt{2 }  \times  \sqrt{2}

 = 25 \times  \sqrt{4}

 = 25 \times 2

 = 50
