Given:-

  • Area of the rectangle = 851 m²
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 23 m

To Find: Length and it's perimeter.

We know,

  • Area of rectangle = (Length) (Breadth)
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)

Length:-

Let the length be = x

A. T. Q. :-

(23)(x) = 851

→ 23x = 851

→ x = 851/23

x = 37

Length of the Rectangle was of 37 metres.

Perimeter:-

(See the second formula)

Perimeter = 2(37 + 23) m

= 2(60) m

= 120 m

Perimeter of the rectangle was 120 metres.

Answer:

Length is 37 m and perimeter is 120 m

Given ,

    Area of a rectangle is 851 m²

    Breadth(B) = 23 m

    Length (L)

Area of rectangle is L*B

L * 23 = 851

L = 851/23

L = 37 m

Perimeter of rectangle is 2(L + B)

                 2(37 + 23)

                = 2(60) = 120 m
