Answer: Base = 32 cm

              Height = 16 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let height be x

Base = 2x

Area = height × base

512 = x × 2x

512 = 2x^2

512 ÷ 2 = x^2

256 = x^2

x = 16

Answer:

let the height of parallelogram= x

then it's base = 2(height)= 2x

ar of the parallelogram= base × height

512= (x) × (2x)

512= 2x power 2

x power 2 = 512÷2

x power 2 = 256

x = √256

x = 16 cm

height =x = 16 cm

base = 2x = 2×16=32cm
