Distance= S

Time= "t" hour

given formula,

S×T = t^2 + t/2

1) 3 and half hour

= Distance= 2 km

Step-by-step explanation:

1) S×t = t^2 + t/2

time= 3/2 hrs

S× 3/2 hrs = (3/2)^2 + 3/2÷2

S×3/2hrs = 9/4+3/4

S×3/2hrs= 3

S = 3/2÷3

S= 2/3×3

S= 2

Hence, Distance travel by the particle in 3 and half hours is 2 km....
