Answer:

Given ,

Perimeter of parallelogram = 180 cm

So , Let

Side A = x cm

Side B = x+30 cm

Side C = x cm

Side D = x+30 cm

Perimeter = sum of all sides

So ,

Perimeter of parallelogram = x + x + x+30cm +x+30cm ,

Or ,

2x + 2(x+30) = 2x + 2x + 60 ( brackets opened )

So ,

180 cm= 2x + 2x+60

180-60= 2x+2x

120 = 4x

x = 120/4

= 30 cm .

THEREFORE ,

Side A = 30 cm

Side B = 30 cm + 30 cm

= 60 cm

Side C = 30 cm

Side D = 30 cm + 30 cm

= 60 cm .

( Remember , opposite sides are equal )
