area of square Park = a²

=(30)²

=900 m²

length of rectangular park = 30+4=34m

breadth of rectangular park =30-4=26m

area of rectangular park = l×b = 34×26 =884 m²

thus, sqaure park is greater in area by = 900-884= 16 m²

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Side if square = a = 30m ( given )

In rectangle,

A/Q

L = 4+30

B= 30-4

Now,

Ar( square ) = a^2 = 30^2 = 900m

Ar( rectangle ) = L×B = 884m

Hence, area of square is greater than rectangle by 16m
