Step-by-step explanation:

given

5+√3/5-√3=a+b√3

LHS

by rationalising

= (5+√3)2 / 24 - 3

= 28 + 10√3/21

= 28/21 + 10√3/21

= 4/3 + 10√3/21 which is of the form a+b√3

hence a= 4/3 and b= 10/21
