When a candle burns two things take place -
The melting of the candle
Release of CO2 from burnt candle.
The melting of candle here is a physical change bcs the state of candle reverses from molten form to solid form.
The release of CO2 is a chemical change
eg: Burning of wood
when wood burns moisture in it turns into water vapour which is a physical change and CO2 and other gases are released which is a physical change.
