Natural gas has formed when millions of years ago in the age of dinosaur from decomposed animal and plant life.tiny plant and animals that floated in the sea died and sank down to the sea bed.The were then covered with layers of sand and mud and pushed down. As the pressure and heat increases from the rock that are placed above them, they gradually changed into oil and gas.

Explanation:

In conventional natural gas deposits, the natural gas generally flows easily up through wells to the surface. In the United States and in a few other countries, natural gas is produced from shale and other types of sedimentary rock formations by forcing water, chemicals, and sand down a well under high pressure.
