5. Which is a better buy?
(a) 8 m roll of black ribbon for 15.20 or 9 m roll of black ribbon for 18.90
(b) 3 packs of DVDs for 77.25 or 7 packs of DVDs for 174.04

i. 8m of roll of black ribbon = ₹15.20

1m of roll of black ribbon = ₹15.20÷8 =₹1.9

ii. 9m of roll of black ribbon = ₹18.90

1m of roll of black ribbon = ₹18.90÷9 = ₹2.1

The first option is better 8 m roll of black ribbon for 15.20

(b)

i. 3 packs of DVDs = ₹77.25

1 pack of DVD = ₹77.25÷3 = ₹25.75

ii. 7 packs of DVDs = ₹174.04
