Step-by-step explanation:

If zeroes are given say a and b then the quadratic polynomial will be

x² - ( a + b )x + ab = 0

1) 2 , -3

a = 2 , b = -3

then the polynomial ,

x² - ( 2-3)x + (2)(-3) = 0

x² - (-1)x + (-6) = 0

x² + x - 6 = 0

2) 1/2 , 3

a = 1/2 , b = 3

then the polynomial ,

x² - ((1/2)+3)x + (1/2)(3) = 0

x² - 7x/2 + 3/2 = 0

Multiply 2 on both sides we get ,

2 [ x² - 7x/2 + 3/2 ] = 0 × 2

2x² - 7x + 3 = 0
