5^{x+1} - 5^{x-1} = 120 \\ 5^2.5^x - 5^x = 120*5 \\ =\ \textgreater \ 24 . 5^x = 120*5 \\ =\ \textgreater \ 5^x = 5^2 =\ \textgreater \ x = 2

And we're done..

0_0 Note:-> In the second step, we multiply the whole eqn. with 5 , to make the calculations easier .. :p ^_^
