let 5^x = t
t- 24. = 25/t
t² - 24t - 25 = 0
t² - (25t - 1t ) -25 = 0
t² - 25t + 1t -25 = 0
t(t - 25) + 1 (t - 25) = 0
( t+ 1 ). + (t - 25) = 0
t= -1
5^x = -1
x= -1
Or
5^x = 25
5^x = 5²
x = 2
therefore x = -1 or 2

5^x can never be -1 because its exponential term so 5^x =25. thereforw x=2
