So

Let,

1/x+y = a

1/x-y = b

Now,

5/x+y = 5a

2/x-y. = 2b

Similarily do it for other eqn

After making you will get two equations

5a - 2b = -1

15a + 7b = 10

After solving these equations you will get values of a and b respectively

a = 1/5

b = 1

Now,

1/x+y = 1/5= a

1/x-y = 1 = b

From here you will get two more equations

x+y = 5

x-y = 1

solving these equations you will get values of x and y

x = 3

y = 2

so this is your ans
