put value of equation 1 in equation 2
2y-5-y-10=0
y-15=0
y=15
put this value in equation 1
x=2*15-5
x=30-5
x=25

Prerna age =x-5
Priya age = 2x-5
10 years later,
Prerna age =(x-5+10) =x+5 yrs
Priya age=(2x-5+10) =2x+5 yrs
As per question,

2x-x=5+10-5
X=15-5
X=10
So, prerna age =10 yrs
Priya = 2x
=2*10
= 20 yrs
