Let her son's age be y.
Five years ago, parvati's age will be x+5.
Five years ago, parvati's son's age will be y-5.
Given that,5 years ago, parvati's age is four times her son's age. So,
4(y-5)=x-5
4y-20=x-5
4y-x=15.  (Equation 1)

Again,

Also given that their present ages sum up to 55. So,
x+y=55.

Adding equation one and second

4y-x+x+y=15+55
5y=70
y=14
Substitution of y in equation 2, we get
14+x=55
x=55-14
x=41

therefore Parvati Present age =41
