You can keep it safe from fungi and bacteria by keep it away from water or moisture and by keeping it in a big air tight container... hope so that it helps

i will put it on an airtight container, i will keep sure that i will not get in a contact with water before use,
extra= i will use a small bag of a fiber and but dehydrated neem leaves in it and put that in that container.{for preventation from insects}
