Why are the wings of an aeroplane rounded outwards while flattened inwards?

because of this shape velocity of air on upper surface is larger than lower surface.these cause pressure difference.pressure below the wing is more than above the wing.therefore it causes upward lift on aeroplane.

Due to bernouli's principle.

As the air flow is from down to up in very high velocity which results in pressure in pressure difference later the floating of the plane.

Bernouli's principle

pressure energy=kinetic energy
