Consider that,
A – always says Truth
B – always lies
C – sometimes lies
D – deaf and dum.b
What is maximum questions you need to ask each to determine who is ABCD?
Answers
A would say 'Truth' to everything, so ask them if they are A.
B if asked if they were A would lie and say yes, showing they are not.
C ask them the same question, are they A? if they say yes ask again and if they say no they're C.
D just won't hear you so won't be able to answer.
So if you can address them all, it should be at a minimum of 2, as C and B would need to be asked individually....
