The side of the equilateral triangle that represents the height of the triangle will have a length of because it will be opposite the 60oangle. To calculate the area of the triangle, multiply the base (one side of the equilateral triangle) and the height (the perpendicularbisector) and divide by two.

Mate!!!

Area of equilateral traingle is √3 × (side)^2 / 4 because equilateral traingle enclosed by the 3 side which are equal in length and all three sides makes an angle of 60° each. Then by the direct formula for calculation of area is introduced.
