The velocity of the  centre of mass is 10 m/s .

Given :

Force on object , F = 6 N .

Mass of object , m = 3 kg .

We need to find the velocity at time t = 5 sec .

Also , initial velocity of object , u = 0 m/s .

We know , F = ma

a=\dfrac{F}{m}\\\\a=\dfrac{6}{3}\\\\a=2\ m/s^2

We also know , according to equation of motion.

v=u+at\\\\v=0+2\times 5\\\\v=10\ m/s

The velocity of the  centre of mass is 10 m/s .
