50x=-125+175
50x=50
X=50/50
X=1

50x-175=-125.

Transposing -175 from LHS to RHS:

50x=-125+175.
50x=50.

Transposing *50 from LHS to RHS:

x=50/50.
x=1.

CHECKING by substituting x with 1:

50(1)-175=-125.
50-175=-125.
-125=-125.

Therefore, x=1.
