Take bottle make some holes on different heights . Fill it some water . You can see that the lower the hole is the water travel more distance .This is because the water exerts pressure on inner surface of water and on the wall and the deeper the hole is the pressure is more.

Take a balloon and tie it at the lower end of a glass tube and hold vertically as in figure. Pour some water in the tube, balloon bulges out as in fig because the water column exerts pressure at its bottom.
