Given,

Total money for distribution = £510

3 × Money of Alex = Gavyn's money

2× Money of Gavyn = Sarah's money

For, calculating the distributed amount of money among three of them,we have to take x (variable) as the amount of money recieved by Alex.

So,

Alex got = £ x

Gavyn got = 3 × x = £ 3x

Sarah got = 2 × 3x = £ 6x

Now, the total money = (x+3x+6x) = £ 10x

If we compare the value of total money given in the question,and the value of total money that we've calculated,then we will get the following mathematical equation.

10x = 510

x = 51

Alex got = £ 51

Gavyn got = 3 ×51 = £ 153

Sarah got = 153 × 2 = £ 306

Hence, Alex received £51, Gavyn recieved £153 and Sarah recieved £ 306.
