Tracy had just started attending her private school for the first time. She was attending a private school for the very first time, and the contrast between her and the other students at her school was quite jarring. This was her first time attending a private school. The students at this school all came from wealthy families, but Tracy's family was one of the few that couldn't afford the tuition. She was granted a scholarship, which was the sole reason she was able to enrol at that particular academic institution. This was a new school for Tracy, and she did not feel comfortable there. Even though she was a smart student, she was never accepted by her peers. She had the nagging feeling that the other students would make fun of her family history, so she avoided eye contact with them and kept her head down.
After she had finished the first exams of the school year, her life underwent a complete transformation. In this test, Tracy earned an incredibly high score. She received a lot of praise in front of her classmates, and they all applauded her. Even one of them came up to her and confessed that she had always admired Tracy but was too scared to speak with her because of her intimidating presence. It came as a surprise to her to consider the possibility that she had intimidated another person. She came to the conclusion that others form their opinions of you based on how you present yourself in front of them, regardless of your history.
