Given : six non-collinear points

To Find :   number of possible line segment

Solution:

6 non-collinear points

 selecting any 2 points out of 6 will form a different line segment

2 points out of 6 can be selected in ⁶C₂ ways

⁶C₂ = 6!/2!.4!

= 6 * 5 / 2 * 1

= 15

Hence  number of possible line segments from six non-collinear points is 15
