(d) 54 kgs

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that

Father weight (F) = 60kg

let's Mother weight = M kg

Children's weight = C kg ( two children's )

Given that, the average of the weights of the children and their mother is 50 kg.

=> ( C + M )/3 = 50

=> ( C + M ) = 50*3 = 150

C + M = 150 ------------(1)

and also,average of the weights of the children and their father is 52 kg.

=> ( C + F ) / 3 = 52

=> ( C + F ) = 156

=> C = 156 - F

=> C = 156 - 60 ( Since, F = 60 )

=> C = 96 kgs

To get the weight of mother, substitute C = 96 in equation (1)

=> C + M = 150

=> 96 + M = 150

=> M = 150 - 96

=> M = 54 kgs

Therefore, the Weight of Mother = 54 kgs
