SOLUTION

HEY BUDDY...

YOU GOT YOUR SOLUTION SO I PROVIDE YOU A DIFFERENT WAY TO SOLVE THE SAME QUESTION......

(Cosθ + Sinθ)² = Cos²θ + Sin²θ + 2Sinθ.Cosθ

(Cosθ - Sinθ)² = Cos²θ + Sin²θ - 2Sinθ.Cosθ

ADD BOTH THE EQUATIONS

(Cosθ + Sinθ)² + (Cosθ - Sinθ)² = 2.....(1)

ACC TO QUESTION

Cosθ + Sinθ = 2Cosθ

put in (1)

(2Cosθ)² + (Cosθ - Sinθ)² = 2

2Cos²θ + (Cosθ - Sinθ)² = 2

(Cosθ - Sinθ)² = 2(1 - Cos²θ)

(Cosθ - Sinθ)² = 2Sin²θ

Cosθ - Sinθ = 2Sinθ
