55% students of a class are girls. If the number of girls is 4 more than that of the boys, what will be the no. of students in that class?

55% of students = girls
100 - 55%
=45% boys
If 50% = half of class
5% = 2 students
10% = 4
20%= 8
30% = 12
40% = 16
50% = 20
so 100% = 40 students

Let, total Students= x
so,  no . girls = 55% of x = 55x/100
and no of boys = x-55x/100 =45x/100
A/q,
        \frac{55x}{100} = \frac{45x}{100} +4
or,   \frac{55x}{100} - \frac{45x}{100} =4
or,  \frac{10x}{100} =4
or, 10x =400
or, x = 40
therefore total no. of student in class = 40
