Answer:

The answer is 0.5714

Explanation:

No. of moles of CH4  (n1) = Mass of CH4 / molar mass of CH4

                                         = 64 / 16

                                         = 4

No. of moles of N2 (n2)    = Mass of N2 / molar mass of N2

                                         = 56 /28

                                         = 2

No. of moles of SO3B (n3) = Mass of SO3  / molar mass of SO3

                                          = 80 / 80

                                           = 1

Mole fraction of CH4 = n1 / n1 +n2 +n3

                                 = 4/ 4+ 2+ 1

                                = 0.5714

Thus the mole fraction of CH4 is 0.5714
