The donkey was very cheater when he crossed the river he intentionally dive in water and and the salt became melted and spred in river so he had to carry less weight.The wise oner understand the trick of donkey . Next day the own burden the sack of cotton and same way donkey reached the river and dive in river to overcome the weight of sacks but due to water the weight of cotton sacks was increase and they become more heavy.
