Answer: a) L= 21P

Step-by-step explanation:

P is the LCM of 2,4,6,8,10

Prime factor of  2 = 2

Prime factor of  4 = 2 x 2

Prime factor of  6 = 2 x 3

Prime factor of  8 = 2 x 2 x 2

Prime factor of  10 = 2 x 5

Therefore P =2 x 2 x 3  x 2 x 5 = 2³ x 3 x 5 = 120

Q is LCM of 1,3,5,7,9

Prime factor of  1 = 1

Prime factor of  3 = 3

Prime factor of  5 =5

Prime factor of  7 = 7

Prime factor of  9 = 3 x 3

Therefore Q= 3 x 3 x 5 x 7 = 3² x 5 x 7 =315

L is the LCM of P and Q = 2³ x 3² x 5 x 7  = 2520

2520 = 21 x 120 ⇒ L = 21 P

Hence , L =21P

Answer:

(a) L = 21P answer

Step-by-step explanation:

P is the LCM of 2,4,6,8,10

P=3(8)(5)

Q is the LCM of 1,3,5,7,9

Q=5(7)(9)

L is the LCM of P, Q.

Therefore,

L= 5(7)(9)8,i.e, 8Q.

L=3(8)(5)21 i.e., 21P
