You can square it...

i.e (5a+6b)^2

w.k.t (a+b)^2= a^2 + b^2 + 2(a)(b)

5a+6b = (5a) ^2 + (6b)^2 + 2(5a)(6b)

=25a2 + 36b2 + 60ab....
