Answer: " a = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ".

Since, if a number is even, or ends in zero, the number is divisible by "2" .

If the last digit of a number is an "even number" , the entire number is an even number.

As such: If the last digit of the number is an even number, then the last number is divisible by "2" .

Also, note that if the last digit of a number is "0" , then the number is divisible by "2" .

So: If the last digit of a number is "0" or an "even number" (i.e. "2, 4, 6, or 8" ), then the number is divisible by "2" .

Given: The number: " 5A6 " ; we note the number ends in "6" ; which is an "even number" .
