Answer:PLEASE MARK THE BRAINLIEST!!!!

Step-by-step explanation:HERE'S YOUR ANSWER:-

LET COST OF 1 APPLE = x

LET COST OF ORANGE = y

THEREFORE,

5x+4y=340

5x=340-4y

x=(340-4y)/5...........(eq.1)

7x+6y=490..........(substitute eq.1)

7[(340-4y)/5]+6y=490

(2380-28y)/5+6y=490

(2380-28y+30y)/5=490

(2380+2y)/5=490

2(1190+y)=490*5

1190+y=2450/2

1190+y=1225

y=1225-1190

y=35

THEREFORE,

COST OF ONE ORANGE=35 rupees

x=(340-4y)/5

x=(340-(4*35))/5

x=(340-140)/5

x=200/5

x=40

THEREFORE,

COST OF ONE APPLE=40 rupees
