5apples and 8 Oranges together cost Rs. 155 where as 8 apples and 5 oranges together

cost Rs.170. Find the cost of one apple and one orange by forming the pair of linear

equations.

Apples quantity =5

oranges quantity=8

Together cost Rs.155

Cost of one apple= Rs.155 ÷5= 31

And cost of oranges =Rs.155÷8=19.375

In first part there are quantity of apples are= 5 and quantity of oranges are=8. So the cost of 1 apple is Rs.31 and cost of 1 oranges is Rs=19.375 .so because in the first the cost of apples and oranges is=Rs155 and in the other apples quantity became 8 and oranges quantity became 8
