The golgi apparatus occurs in the form of granules, filaments or rods ehich are supposed to be originated from endoplasmic reticulum. These are very small vesicles of different shapes, and are generally located near the nucleus. The golgi  complex consists of many small groups of hollow tubular structures with membranous walls and is associated with some minute vesicles and vacuoles. It is considered with the secretion of the cell including enzymes, hormones, etc.
