We know that, am ÷ an = am − n

(5m ÷ 5−3) = 55

5m−(−3) = 55

5m + 3 = 55

The bases are the same on both the sides, so their exponents must be equal.

∴ m + 3 = 5

⇒ m = 5 − 3

⇒ m = 2

we are at same class at 8 ch 12 right

Answer:

5^m ÷ 5^-3 = 5^5

= 5^m + 1/5^3 = 5^5

= 5^m × 5^3 = 5^5

= 5^m+3 = 5^5

m + 3 = 5

m = 5 - 3 = 2
