One Sunday morning, our family decided to go on a picnic to the nearby park. Being excited about going outside for a change, we all hurriedly tried to get ready as soon as possible, packing food and necessities as fast as we can. Then, after some hours of hectic shouting and haggling each other, we were about to leave.
A phone call came for my father. Since it was an unknown number, he decided to ignore it and we were on our way. Then, another call came with the same number. After numerous missed calls, he decided to get it done with. But to our horror, the call had been from a stranger who had found my uncle in an unconscious state in the nearby street. Seems my uncle had been on his usual morning walk when he fainted. It had been more than an hour that we ignored the call. Cancelling all plans of enjoyment, we went directly to the hospital where my uncle has been admitted.
The doctor told us he had suffered a mild heart attack and that we were lucky the stranger had decided to help my uncle even though he couldn't reach his family. The incident taught us, and the whole family that it is not always good to ignore people. There are good people everywhere and that it is on us to be helpful too others too, whenever circumstances require.
Moral- Helping others and never ignore people.
