Answer:

rope portion in centimetres = ((total metres of rope * number of centimetres in a metre) / number of equal pieces of rope) * three quarters

p = ((r * c) / n) * 0.75

p = ((2 * 100) / 5) * 0.75

p = (200 / 5) * 0.75

p = 40 * 0.75

p = 30

30cm

Some methodologies would probably save the conversion to centimetres to later in the equation

p = ((r / n) * 0.75) * c

but the result is the same.

Answer:

Total rope = 5m

Measures of each equal pieces of the rope = 1/2m

So,

1/2m= 50cm

5m= 500cm

Then,

500/50

5*100 / 5*10

100/10

10/1

So, there are 10 equal pieces of rope.
