5ml of water was taken in a china dish and test tube separately.These conditions are kept in the different conditions as .......1st(both sample are kept under a fan. 2nd both samples were kept under a cupboard. (state in which case evaporation is faster,give reason for your answer.)

1st one because it is kept open.....

The one in China dish will evaporate faster.
Why?
because surface area is one of the main factors which affect the speed of evaporation. So as China dish has a larger surface area the water in it will definitely evaporate faster if all other conditions are same..
