n=2
P=40W
t=5hours
energy consumed =n×P×t
=2×40×2
160W/H. 1
FAN
P=80W
t=12hours
energy consumed=P×t
=80×12
=960W/h. 2
TV
P=6W
t=8hours
energy consumed =P×t
=6×8
=48W/h.

from 1,2,and3
energy consumed =160+960+48
=1168W/h

cost =₹4.00×1168
=₹4672

2 Tube lights each of 40W for 5 hours
=2×40×5=400W

As it is in the month of July ; 31 days..

400×31 = 12400W...

1 Fan 80W for 12 hours
=1×80×12
=960W

For 31 days = 960×31= 29760W..

{Please check the question once more TV consumes way more than 6W but I will do the problem as per the question}

1TV of 6W for 8 hours
=1×6×8
=48W

For 31 days = 48×31= 1488W...

[Electrical unit is always KW(Kilo-watts)
Always remember to convert the numericals of watts into kilo-watts]

1KW = 1000W

12400W = 12.4 KW
29760W = 29.76 KW
1488W = 1.488 KW

= 43.648KW

Rs.4 for each KW

Total cost = 4×43.648

Rs. 174.592

Hence the required answer is 174.592
