Answer:

Hey buddy, I had the same Oxford textbook when I was studying Class 8.....

The answer : the length and breadth are either (x+7) or (x+5)

Mark it as the brainliest!!

Step-by-step explanation:

The dimensions of a rectangle are its length and breadth.

Area of a rectangle= Length x Breadth( lb)

Area of this rectangle= (x² +12x +35) unit²

=> lb= x² +12x+35

=> So, we have to factorize this to find the length and breadth....

=> x²+12x+35

Factorizing using splitting method

=> x²+ 5x +7x+35( 7x × 5x= 35x², 7x +5x= 12x)

=> x(x+5)+7(x+5)

=> (x+7)(x+5)= Length x Breadth (or) Breadth x Length ( both are the same)

=> The length and breadth are either (x+7) or (x+5)

Mark it as the brainliest!!

here is your solution :::::::

X -15x+36
x {}^{2}  - 15x + 36 \\ x {}^{2}  - 12x - 3x + 36 \\  x(x - 12) \:  - 3(x  - 12) \\ (x - 3) \: (x - 12) \\ x - 3 = 0 \:  \:  \: x - 12 =  0 \\ x = 3 \:  \: and \:  \: 12
hope it will helps u .......
