Let the youngest man be : x years.
The third oldest man = x + 15
The second oldest = x + 15 + 5 = x + 20
The oldest = x + 20 + 5 = x + 25
Total sum of their ages :
60 × 4 = 240
Forming an equation :
x + x + 15 + x + 20 + x + 25 = 240
4x + 60 = 240
4x = 240 - 60
4x = 180
x = 180/4
x = 45
Age of youngest is 45 years.
