➡ 5x - 2(2x - 7) = 2(3x - 1) + 7/2

➡ 5x - 4x + 14 = 6x - 2 + 7/2

➡ x + 14 = 12x - 4 + 7/2

➡ 2(x + 14) = 12x + 3

➡ 2x + 28 = 12x + 3

➡ 28 - 3 = 12x - 2x

➡ 10x = 25

➡ x = 25/10

➡ x = 5/2

Hence, the value of x is “ 5/2 ” .
