given equations are as follows

5 x + 3 y = -11..............eq .1
2 X + 4 Y =-10.............eq.2

multiplying equation 1 with 2
and multiplying equation 2 with 5

eq.1 . 10x + 6y = -22
eq.2. 10x + 20 y = 50

abstracting equation 1 from equation 2.

10x + 20 y = 50
- 10x - 6y. =. 22
________________
14 y =. 72
y =. 72/14= 36/7

substituting the above value in equation 1

5x + 3 × 36/7 = -11

and then solve the equation and get the value of X
5x + 3 \times 36 \div 7 =  - 11
