√5 x² + x + √5 = 0

on comparing this eqⁿ with ax² + bx + c = 0

we get,

a = √5 ; b = 1 ; c = √5

D = b² - 4ac

= (√5)² - 4 (1) (√5)

= 5 - 4√5

= 5 - 4 ( 2.236 ) { √5 = 2.236 }

= 5 - 8.944

= - 3.944

D < 0

:- It has no real roots.

Hence , √5 x² + x + √5 = 0 does not have any real roots.
