5y + 2x = 159
2x = 159/5y
x = (159/5y) / 2

5y+21+2x=180
[transposing 21 to RHS]
5y+2x=180-21
5y+2x=159
[subtracting 5y from both sides]
5y+2x-5y=159-5y
2x=159-5y
[dividing both sides by 2]
2x/2=(159-5y)/2
x=79.5-2.5y
