we \: have \: \\ {5y}^{2} - 45y - 110 \\ = > {5y}^{2} - 55y + 10y - 110 \\ = > 5y(y - 11) + 10(y - 11) \\ = > (y - 11)(5y + 10) \\ now \: \: \\ \: y - 11 = 0 \\ y = 11\: \: \: \: \\ and \\ 5y + 10 = 0 \\ y = - \frac{10}{5 } \\ y = - 2

hope this helps.

plz mark as brainliest answer.
