√3+√3=a√3+b√2

2√3=a√3+b√2

2√3-a√3=b√2

√3(2-a) =b√2

Therefore, 2-a=√2

a=2+√2 and b=√3

Therefore,

a-b=(2+√2)-√3

=(2+1.414)-1.732

=3.414-1.732

=1.682
